Good Morning Campers!
We are now three days into Camp NaNoWriMo. How are you getting on? I know my plan was to feverishly write nearly 6,000 words in the first two days (this is a scheduled post by the way. Can you guess why?). It’s not even the first of July at the time of writing of this, and I am pretty sure I would have failed my goals already. (FYI – I didn’t! Why are our inner critics so harsh I wonder?)
Do you know what? That’s okay. There is only one rule for Camp NaNo, and that is to KEEP GOING. A missed word count sucks, but the ability to stick at something is worth so much more.Â
Crack on – you can do this!
Hey Amy, my goal for camp is 25,000 words and I managed to get near to 4,000 already, very chuffed but worried about the next bit – the dreaded middle bit of my first novel 😬 Good luck and I look forward to reading about your progress.

Oh, the middle bit is the worst – it’s so easy to get bogged down. Just get those words on the page and don’t worry too much about how it sounds. You seem to have done brilliantly so far 😀

Thank you. Yep, just write the words, that’s the plan! 😀

Thanks for checking out Indifferent Ignorance! I’ve never done Nanowrimo in any form, because I know I don’t have the time to dedicate to it. As long as you’ve dedicated time, you’re basically halfway there as far as I can tell. 🙂
Also, as an aside, I also live by the sea in south east England. 🙂 Small world, I guess…

A very small world! Isn’t the weather lovely at the moment? Although, I hear we’ll have thunder later today. Thank you for your comment. I have to admit that NaNoWriMo is becoming a bit of a slog today. Best of luck in your writing and blogging

I’ve heard that too – I’m in London all day so I’m hoping I miss it!
Take a deep breath and finish the sentence/paragraph/chapter. It’ll be worth it when it’s done. 🙂

Hi Amy!
I’m just getting started for this morning’s work! I’m doing pretty well, on track.
By the way, I live in East Anglia!
Keep on writing!
Hugs

Lovely place East Anglia 🙂 I’m in Herne Bay in Kent. How did the writing go? Unfortunately, I wrote a grand total of 0 words yesterday. I hope you did better than I did!
